This....is a steaming pile of shit. Lifelong criminal gets into Starfleet Academy....right. What's her name is a joke of a captain, doesn't know how to use a brush. Programmable matter is going to be this show's plot device. New starship looks gay. I shall call it USS Shoehorn. Show is full of ugly people and fat ugly people. Absolutely horrible song at the end.

I knew this was going to be trash, but holy shit.

Show definitely feels aimed at a YA audience. It’s not unbearable, but it does feel cliched in the ways YA shows tend to in terms of characters: the “bad boy” who is good at heart, the insecure guy who acts like a confident jerk to hide that, the sarcastic girl who will probably end up in a love triangle with the previously mentioned characters, the nerd, and the socially inept person

It was nice seeing the Doctor again at least (it is the same character from Voyager, not the copy from that one episode).

Watching Ep 2. Show looks like a methadone clinic on a Saturday night. Holly Hunter laughably miscast and spends her time preaching at everyone. And of course we get a fat Vulcan. Writing is worse than the first ep, not a single interesting character.

What this show needs is moar Spore Drive and Black Alert.

I got halfway through the 2nd and am just not interested enough to keep going. I don't hate it, I'm just not interested. Just not a show for me.
