The third officer pistol is the one to get, blurrig or whatever its called. that thing is the most OP gun in the game. Once you have the 4 burst opened up on it, you will be one bursting snipers, 2 bursting assaults and 3 bursting the heavys. As to the starting gun, I still use it, since im like 20 kills away from getting the blurrig and I hated the second one. I have no problem killing with the first gun. I like its fast fire rate. But its my least played class as I like assault and heavy the most, followed by sniper.

Once you get the A280 CFE, this is also the god gun on specialist. But the thing is that it sucks in its vanilla form, you need to get the burst option for it, I think its 150 kills with it to open that up. this is also a OP weapon that turns a specialist into a CQC killing machine, especially with his improved infiltration card. The problem is struggling with the 280 CFE without the burst mode is painful. At least it was for me, i went back to his sniper becauss the 20 CFe was so hard to use, for me at least.

Also do you play in first person or 3rd person? One thing that helped me immensely is when I started to play in 3rd person. You have so much more situational awareness and battle rolling really helps.

I kinda flip between first person and 3rd. Depending what I am doing. The second pistol is pretty nice on the more open maps for some long distance sniping. I was having really good luck capping specialists trying to snipe me in the few games since I got it. First pistol is better in more close quarters maps as its fire rate is higher so better for brawling. I heard really good things about the blurrg and am working towards that.

One of the kinda odd things about the way their progressoin works is sometimes getting the initial common card is the hard part then just slam crafting stuff in and pimp out the power.

I couldn't figure out what was going on in this reddit post but then reading thru it, I guess a ton of people are AFK botting (on console too using mechanical devices, lol) just to rack up credits, hahaha. Now I gotta see in future games if people are doing it, although I would imagine star assault is the easiest to AFK bot in since no one pays attention to other teammates in that mode.

The ole rubber band on the controller. I ran into a few of those playing Heroes vs Villains over the weekend but nothing that bad. Boosting rewards for progression is needed. The fastest way to gain credits right now is either Heros vs Villains or Blast(TDM).

I guess streamers are saying HvV is the mode to do it in because it auto selects the hero or villain for you or some shit. The other modes dont? I dont know, but when I load into galactic assault map and dont choose, it always spawns me in as assault, so I guess thats BS. Maybe the HvV mode is the quickest to farm, you know time vs reward thing.

I don't know about those afking, but playing regularly HvV and blast matches go much faster than galactic assault and payout is about the same. Galactic assault rewards should be doubled to bring it up to par. same for starfighter assault. The multi stage games juat take more time.

I laughed when someone brought up the point that you can only earn so many credits in arcade so you cant farm credits. I guess as long as its online it's cool.

haha i just attached a rubber band to my controller and left it in HvH for an hour, it goot about 145 credits per game (vs like... 200 i'd get if I tried) and yeah worked just fine solo with no AFK detection in the game or anything. Attach anything to your right trigger so it is held inwards or outwards and you too can rack up like ~1k credit/hour.

Good, they can also take that "games as a service" and stuff it up their asshole as well, because that's where shit belongs.

$3.1 billion dollars, just faded into ether. I'm so happy I resisted the urge to pick up this piece of shit. I want those space battles so bad, but I was strong.

I don't think they will change their strategy, but most likely will change the way it's implemented in game. In Start Wars, it's very complicated to add custom skin because you want to be Dark Vador, not UltraVador2000 with pink wings, a fiery crown and pink lightsaber with meow sounds instead of the lightsaber effect. The lootboxes were the solution they phoned in. The artificial wall they created was too obvious and generated the uproar.
The next step is to design a game having microtransaction implemented in a much more subtle way. The next Battlefield will probably show what their million-paid marketing/financial guys can come up with.

Maybe they will charge three dollars to change Dark Vador’s name to Darth Vader. You know, just for shits and giggles.

Only in the Ultra Deluxe Mighty Morphin Powah Rangers version of it. Otherwise, you gotta pay $203.

As goofy as custom cosmetics would look, they probably would have made a killing without the uproar. Violet Vader with hot pink trim, Banana Yellow Boba Fett, Lemon Luke, Lime Leia, and Light Cornflower Blue Lando just to suggest a few.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that mocrotransactions should be only for aesthetic reasons.

Obviously Hot Pink Vader is retarded, but they could still pull it off and keep it in the realm of believability. Let's say you can get a Darth Vader pilot loadout, that had like a slightly different look with say a different belt and he's wearing bracers or something.

Or Rey would be in a hooded robe, Maul as well, could have Dagobah Luke etc.

It's not hard.

They could even break the suits down into individual pieces to milk it even more for that crowd.

But that's where it has to stop. If people can pay for any kind of in game skills or experience, that's garbage.

The heroes do have some cosmetic options. I have an armored and unarmored kylo ren and a couple different rey looks as well. Like for luke I would not be shocked once the force awakens comes out if luke gets a grizzled old luke option.

You cannot put asthetic options into a game like SWBF2 because any change, any skin, any color, any armband, any costume that strays away from what Lucas arts or whatever controls the license all has to be approved, and like jack frags said (below ) in one of his videos, its one of the most anal franchises when it comes to shit like that down to the voices and what they say in game.
