Edit: Does your able to play date say the 1st or the 6th? I should have a Premium key but not sure if they gave me the right key or not.

My Premium Steam version says the 6th; my game pass PC version with the premium upgrade is counting down until tomorrow.

I should expand on this, on a SERIOUS note for those not in the know.
Starflight, which came out in 1986, was No Mans Sky for it's time, except it was finished at release (lol). It was truly pioneering for it's time and has been verbally stated to be the primary inspiration of Star Control 2, Mass Effect, and No Mans Sky among other great games.
Consider this: It contained about 800 planets, in about 300 star systems, most of which you could land on, mine for minerals, kill/capture enemies, and uncover lore about the universe in ruins you'd find around. Unlike Star Control 2, and much like No Mans Sky, it was possible to spend days on a single planet if you wanted to, as exploring it was very vast. You had your own ship you could configure/enhance, and artifacts you could find in ruins to enable things on the ship. It had four races you could have in your crew (not including an optional android), 12 races you encounter throughout the universe, and three unknown races/sentient beings. You could randomly encounter them, talk to them, negotiate with them, etc. Some planets were guarded, some were not. It had an underlying story full of space drama, with the ultimate goal of finding planets suitable for colonization and later discovering the cause of suns flaring out and your ultimate mission is to stop it.
Now that you've read all this, keep in mind they were able to do this using up two 360K floppy disks. The entire game was less than 1MB in size.

I already had the following Tuesday and Wednesday requested off, so it was more like a sign from god at that point. I always preemptively extend the long holiday weekends, usually requesting off 6 months in advance, way before any of the shitters think to, then kick back and laugh when all their last minute requests get denied because I'm already out those days.
