Looks like someone over in RI finally removed head from ass and realized they could make some money off Amalur if they put it on a Steam sale.

Only 50% off ($25 for it + all DLC) though. Pretty sure it has been much cheaper at Amazon in the past, but at least there's an option now for those of us who refuse to ever install Origin.

Heh, still double GameFly's price though. Like most things EA-related, it's pretty transparent what they're doing.

The demo made it seem like a decent game, but you couldn't pay me enough to install the STD known as Origin on my computer.

It was $10 for the base game at Amazon not sure about the DLC

It's still probably $5 more than I'm willing to spend on it. The other difference is all those other versions uses Origin's DRM whereas the Steam version does not.

Bastion for $1

I got Bastion years ago and just recently got around to playing it. Such an amazing game. I wish I had played it before. Worth FAR more than $1, so if you don't have it yet buy it.

Might want to pay the extra for the soundtrack too, it's really good.

SRTT is a good game. Probably even better if you've never played SR2 and don't know what you're missing, and at the very least it shits all over the GTA series.

It's definitely worth getting the complete pack for $16.99. It includes every bit of DLC, including the season pass of actual game content which was $20 by itself originally (and $6.79 on sale).

Absolutely, yes. Think GTA but with non-stop silliness while the characters try to be serious about it.

I enjoyed Saints Row 3 more then any GTA game. SR3 doesn't take itself seriously and it just gets more and more ridiculous. Loved every second of it.
