oh dang. thats been on my to buy for a while.

its not EQ. its kingsfield/shadowtower homage. aka, fromsoftwares origins before dark souls.

Edit: oh, no this is not Lucacid itself. this is.. a custom dungeon using the king's field tool. presumably remaking their own lunacid in kings field.

Another decent HUmble month IMO. Some games I've wanted but balked at their price like Shadow Gambit and Thaumaturge.

yes i believe there is an option for Steam Key redemption

edit: there has to be, thats the only way I've ever redeemed it

but you may want to check and make sure its offered for that particular bundle first

i bought the MegaMan Legacy Collection and Capcom Arcade Collection through Humble and redeeemed both on Steam

That "Return to Metroidvania" bundle they have going on humble bundle is pretty good, too.

Astalon is a great retro-vania that might take a little to get started, but has a cool story and gameplay.

Islets reminded me a little of Hollow Knight...BUT...way more casual. Kind of like a Saturday afternoon type of game.

Gato Roboto is a cute and fun Metroidvania that's actually REALLY well done.

The Shantae game was okay but had way too many story interruptions for my taste.

The others I'm not too experienced with but come highly rated.

Since this is free, I fired it up with had zero expectations (and was a little skeptical since the install size was less than a gig), but wow...this game is extremely enjoyable. I haven't finished it yet, but I think I'm close and haven't wanted to put it down.

This is a game you can complete over 2 or 3 play sessions so it's not going to take over your life or even offer anything new/revolutionary. It's a fairly simple game, but it's just....fun.

The developer offering it for free as a way to promote the sequel is a great move because I am definitely going to purchase part 2 and I never would have played the original had it not been posted here (and free).

Fanatical is doing a Summer Mystery game sale, 1 dollar for a random steam key, 10 keys for $7.50 . Everything from steam shovelware all the way to AAA titles are supposedly available. I threw a few bucks at it for 10 keys, got some decent stuff and a few dupes. Keys below if anyone wants

Last played Ancestor's Legacy 7 years ago now... I remember being disappointed with the map sizes, troop limits, etc. Was a fun game but that made it a no-go for my group of comp-stomping friends.
