Woz is awesome because he designed the Apple II (flagship machine that took Apple into the big time) completely alone... while working at HP making calculators. Given he was a basement dwelling socially awkward weirdo who spent most of his evening play-designing computers and teaching himself engineering for 20+ years.
But what can I say. I have a hardon for that kind of self-taught genius. Guy left school because he was already ahead of the graduate students.
