Water Magician just made my day. I know he had a really rough life and just wanted peace and quiet in this life, so the library made sense. Him showing up at the end was awesome.

I love dandadan, however I feel very uncomfortable trying to explain the plot to anyone irl. The show is definitely the best kind of Japanese pure insanity.

The intro of this week's To Be Hero X show just how violent and thuggish Chinese people try to be. A kid's swimming in a freezing lake and a few onlookers are videoing him and making jokes at him. He gets out of the water and knocks the camera out of one of their hands, so they all decide that the next step is to try and beat him to death. Shitty people.

I hope this weeks episode has some cool fight scenes, and he doesn't just one shot the demon lord. Water Magician and S2 of 7th Prince have been my favorites this season.

I've been way behind on anime lately due to Abiotic Factor, but I finally caught up on Clevatess. What a good fucking show.
But I realized while watching the last two episodes that there is yet another "trope" or whatever that I can't stand. The latest iteration is the bug wizard guy in Clevatess. That same fucking type of character is in half of the animes I've ever watched, where he looks out from underneath his hair with only one eye, maybe with a weirdly sharp tooth for whatever reason, and has that Snidely Whiplash, "I'm about to murder everybody but I'm not actually scary in any way," voice and demeanor. I hate that fucking character, even when I'm not supposed to hate it. The second in command guy from Kaiju #8 has that similar style, and even though he's ultimately good, I want him to die. That's also the main reason I couldn't get past episode 2 of that fire brigade show where the guy can't stop grinning, because the MC is that fucking character I hate!
Is it just me, or do others find that character as repulsive as I do? It is right behind the little kid that is a boy but looks like a girl (like 7th Prince) in the running for characters I hate watching.
Totally unrelated, started Dandadan, and wtf?? I like it, but what the fuck is this show?! From comments I assume it is just fucking batshit insane throughout.
