Without having seen the new episode yet, if it's anything at all like the first season, I will have to agree. I'm currently on show 17 (of 43) new stuff that aired. I'm blowing past most of it, but some catches my attention.

I dont expect Frieren level writing out of Trapped in an Otome, but starting S2 with 'oh and btw your clownish rival managed to get herself declared the saint behind your back despite not having the resources or influence to accomplish something like that' is kinda jarring.

First episode of the Ghost in the Shell reboot was great. They're faithfully animating the original manga this time around.

She found the saint bracelet at the end of S1 in a dungeon, using her past life knowledge of the game. Then she mastered healing magic to get the treasure to react to her. The church's purpose is to find the saint, someone who reacts to the 3 treasures.

New clevates, new ghost, new mushoku. This could be season of the year.

The depiction of the major in the new ghost as a brain rotted detached zoomer actually fits so well.

Another new show I'm not at all into. A Witch of Mongolia. You see, she uses her mastery of geometry to dominate with her magic. Because every Muslim has the goal of increasing their knowledge for the betterment of the world. What a bunch of force fed bullshit. Muslim are among the highest inbreeding low IQ individuals out there. And exceptionally violent. This show is an abomination of reality.

EDIT: Oh, found it. I have it marked as new anime 39. I've attempted to watch the first episodes of 34 others so far, so I should see that one today.

This is shaping up to be a pretty good season.

The art style of heavy knight is unusual, but I like it. It seems they doubled down on what they were doing in cheat skill. They definitely are putting their work in on the weird angle sweeps.

I dislike it, the story itself and the premise are OK, but the art design is.. meh.

Frontier Lord is a happy fluffy fantasy story. No isekai, just a dude being a dude, and trying to figure out how to found a city on the frontier.

Having not read the manga I was like wow this must be really faithful as it's way different than the original anime!

Yep. The original manga had a lot more humor alongside the more serious aspects. The movie was just so successful that adaptations after that kept closer to it in tone.

The original manga is pretty short, only 10 chapters or so. If you end up liking this version of the anime it's worth a read.

I've been thinking of buying one of the complete collected versions of it. How ever there seems to be a bunch of different versions I think.
