I've never been interested in super girl comics or shows. Unless it's rated R and has lots of titties guys usually aren't interested in female leads.
There's 5 weeks between Supergirl and Mandalorian (not that I think that's going to be a breakout hit either) - by that point anyone who wanted to see Mandalorian will have by then, and Supergirl will be the only new action movie.
Then there's another 5 weeks between Supergirl and Spider-Man - if you want to get out of the heat and see an action movie for 30 days of July, Supergirl is the only option.
We've seen middling movies like Mufasa crawl to profitability because they are the only game in town, so unless you think Disclosure Day, Master of the Universe, and The Odyssey are going to be massive hits _to the action crowd_, Supergirl has an entire month of the peak moviegoing summer season to itself.
I don't care if its a supergirl movie as long as it's not all about her being female and her unique struggles as a female in a male-kryptonian dominated world... and how she really is just as strong, capable, and brave as any MAN...I've never been interested in super girl comics or shows. Unless it's rated R and has lots of titties guys usually aren't interested in female leads.
Lol, i’d torch that all day long with the First Amendment, since shouting a spoiler isnt an imminent incitement to violence…If someone shouted this in the movie ticket lines, they need to go to CECOT.
Disorderly conduct or causing unrest? I'm sure there's something illegal about thisButthurt

What do you have against women with round teeth?First it was all that incest porn, now they are taking women who look like their parents were related, maybe cousins, and telling us "This is beauty."
I ain't say'n, I'm just say'n.
It's not our fault some of us grew up in Alabama and it is all we know.First it was all that incest porn, now they are taking women who look like their parents were related, maybe cousins, and telling us "This is beauty."

Has the famously fickle Game of Thrones fandom prepared Alcock for the inevitable backlash she’ll face? “It definitely made me aware that simply existing as a woman in that space is something that people comment on. We have become very comfortable having this weird ownership of women’s bodies,” she says. “I can’t really stop them. I can only be myself.”
Probably a bit of both.Is the movie actual bad then? Are we outrage marketing?
This is the original Vanity Fair article, which itself was already trying to color the quote, which isn't even about the movie but instead about GoT:
Journalists and influencers who quote two words and then spin their own narrative are worthless. 'People comment on women's bodies and I can't stop them so whatever' is a pretty far fucking cry from 'Women face backlash for existing in franchises.'
