I think that was more of just a bit part or a cameo before he was well known. I'm trying to remember what he did in the film, but I don't even think I knew who the hell he was at the time. It's been a while since I've seen that movie, but I vaguely remember him being in a as just a grunt or something.

I don't have much fear about Fillion as Guy. I think it would be hilarious after his short sting at TDK if he would just keep showing up as characters who never survive more than a movie, and rinse and repeat....
My other dream for him would be since they said the Reyes Blue Beetle is also Gunn universe canon and they set up a "Ted Kord is still alive" bit at the end of the Blue Beetle movie to have him as Ted Kord. I think he might be the perfect Kord, and it would let them bring in a skinny blonde in his age range (Like Jason Vanderbeek) to do the Booster/Beetle movie that we all deserve based on the late 80's run. (Which would also lean directly into Gunn's obvious style). Since it's pretty obvious he loves that era's Justice league.

Brightburn was fucking terrible. GotG was only good because chris pratt is fucking awesome. The rest of the cast kinda sucks. Okay Michael rooker is good too. But the rest of them are kinda terrible. Especially the stupid gay wrestler.
Not holding out any hope for this.

The fucking music towards the end of the newest trailer... Kids goosebumps from 1978... Gunn does a lot right and music is always one of them.
