I wouldn't put Kravitz in the top 4 hotest catwoman

Pfeiffer, Newman, Halle, and Hathaway in no particular order

There's only two things I liked in The Batman : the way the common criminal was so scared of Batman that he freaked out at every shadowy corner, that was quite well done and worked well with the atmosphere of Batman. The second thing was that he did some detective work with the police, instead of just being on the run from them. I don't mind when SOME police people are against his vigilante ways and give him trouble, but Batman should realistically never be at odds with the police, and in fact has many allies in the police force (except the corrupt cops of course).

Everything else was either meh, boring, or near blasphemous (hated the Riddler's portrayal, my favorite Riddler is the suave-though-clearly-unhinged version seen in the 1990's animated series or to an extent in the Arkham games, I really can't stand the screaming lunatic Riddler version. Plus his duct-tape costume was dumb as fuck.).

Catwoman was also pretty useless in that film. Again I prefer Catwoman as a rich woman who just goes around stealing stuff for thrills, it makes for a fun counterpoint to Bruce Wayne who is also rich but vents by beating criminals to a pulp, so the 90's animated version is great for me (and her chemistry with Batman was great), but Pfeiffer's portrayal was also good, though a little too insane for my tastes. That whole movie was insane anyway, but she nailed the sexy femme fatale aspect really well with Batman. Hathaway looked nice in leather with her ass in the air on the bike, but other than that she was extremely forgettable.

I really enjoyed The Batman and The Penguin. I thought both were great. I liked that they dug into the "depression"/psychosis of Batman a little bit. I hate when Wayne is portrayed as just some ultra rich playboy dude who likes vigilante justice, when he's clearly pretty fucking deranged himself.

I would much rather watch movies going forward in the Matt Reeves gritty realistic universe than the retarded scat humor filled suicide squad universe.

I liked The Batman. Granted, I have to be in the mood for a slow watch… but it’s exactly what I expected it to be.

My main gripe is The Riddler. WTF with that costume?

For combat, I prefer Batfleck’s version. Every move is methodical, to the point of looking “staged” or over-acted, but I thought it looked cool.

Yeah, the Ben Affleck stuff looked like it was from those Arkham games, which was pretty cool.

it could also do better as forecasts have went way down on jurassic world rebirth. box office theory still has it much bigger at $140-180m opening. so far this year only 2 movies have opened higher than $100m (3days), cap falcon's is 3rd biggest at $88m

adjusted for inflation,
man of steel, $313m budget, $162m opening, $404m domestic, $929m wordwide

Jurassic Park has some nostalgia bait built in. A little good will left over. We haven't had crappy dinosaurs jammed down our throat for the last 5 years.

Superman on the other hand.... that's some anti-nostalgia.
