The scandal first started in June 2021, when Harley Quinn executive producer Justin Halpern revealed that DC Comics had refused to allow a scene where Batman gave oral sex to Catwoman, saying that "Heroes don't do that." When Halpern asked for clarification and if it was DC Comics position that heroes were all selfish lovers, he was informed that "we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone."
Apparently they can shame Batman's personality all over the Harley series, but can't do anything with his sex life.

No idea wtf you are taking about or where you are getting your numbers from sorry.

I'm talking about your own posts.

No, it was 2013 when they finally realized that children born after 1970 have no idea who the fuck superman is. And by then it was too late for us, entire generations were skipped and don't give a shit about superman. The younger kids, Gen Zs now, Man of Steel is the only superman they know.

The point was and remains, WB abandoned superman on the big screen (IE its place of cultural relevance) for nearly 40 years, they were embarrassed by him I guess, and multiple generations of kids missed out on ever giving a shit about him.

Superman 4 was released in 1987. Superman Returns was released in 2006. That's 19 years. What part of your own words are you confused by?

Oh I see, you are retarded.

Please tell me which superman films contained an origin story?

Superman (1978)
And.....

I'll wait while you work it out.

For future reference it might help if you actually read posts before commenting on them

So in your tiny retarded brain, nobody knows that a character even exists if there isn't an origin story every 5 years? And movie studios completely abandon a property, despite making multiple movies in that property, if they don't keep telling the exact same story over and over?

There's a reason everyone in here is clowning on how fucking you are

Kids weren't taking to Superman in 1980s and 1990s not because there wasnt a Superman feature film every 3-5 years but because Marvel and Image Comics was more interesting.

Superman is a boomer superhero with boomer sensibilities.

The kids wanted shit like Wolverine and Spawn.
I remember going to the comic book store when Superman's death issue came out. They had one of the writers and the artist there signing issues. Only two Superman comics I ever got was the death issue signed, and then I think the resurrection issue. Traded both issues unopened to another comic book store back in the early 90s for a bunch of MTG cards.

Never collected most marvel or DC, like you said it was all Spawn and Dark Horse stuff.

Born after 1970, through about 1980: you watched all the superman movies and also got up at like 7 every saturday to watch superman and the superfriends
Born after that: most of the shit you like is gay so who cares what you think

FTFY

(PS, Superman has been the best known superhero and the archetype for all other superheroes for our entire lifetime)
