Socialized medicine? Really bro? Name one "fed" program that did not ultimately become a failure riddled with corruption and so much red tape it barely crawls. Why would you want the fed gov to run heathcare? In fact, why would you want the gov to run anything other than Branches of armed forces to protect your ass from Russains?
To lower costs and remove the useless middle-man insurance industry which saps at least 3% of our GDP while providing nothing of value whatsoever.

I'm fine with compromise. I supported gay marriage and I'm fine with a third bathroom if the market requires one. But there is no compromise with mathematics. You can not sit down with the number 2 and make it have a nice conversation with the number 3 and have them agree that combined, they equal 6.

'Free Shit' is a socialist promising you that he will get 0 to work with 1 and together they will agree that 0=1. Then they will proceed to hand out 0's and tell you that they are 1's. And you will agree with them that the 0's you are getting are actually 1's. You've compromised. You're advanced. You're ahead of the curve.

Other things that are not up for compromise include free speech and the right to bear arms. If you can't see that Bernie is nothing more than a point-man for the wave of crazy authoritarian postmodern Leftist fee-fee shit happening in Europe, Asia, and Canada then you need to read deeper into the history of this idea that Bernie obediently parrots and wants us all to 'compromise' on.

In order to make 0=1 they have to be allowed to alter the linguistic territory and so this is what happens next, after the 1's are promised and the elections are won based on this promise. Because a commune of devourers does not produce nearly the number of 1's that an emergent civilization of free individuals does, the 1's have to be made up for in the psychological and linguistic realms. They have to make you say that 0=1. You will be commanded to disregard the scientific method and say that 0=1. This is what is happening with Bill C-16 in Canada. It is the State commanding you, in service of socialism, to say that male gametes and female gametes are the exact same things. This is in service of 'Social Justice', which is a rebranding of Marxism to act on the cultural and academic realms rather than the economic.

They enforce this entire psychological new-math infrastructure with a concept described by Orwell as 'Thought Crime'. This is where the modern day Equity and Diversity committees come in, in service of socialism, to scan the corporate and academic landscape for wrong-thinking by way of what they now call 'unconscious bias'. "Comrade, we have agreed that 0=1 because everything is equal and hierarchy in nature does not exist. The destruction of language is a beautiful thing." Lindsay Shepherd is currently suining her school for millions for their attempt to Room 101 her last November.

Bernie is merely a dumb old man spouting platitudes because he and his entire constituency probably have next to no idea the destructive power of the forces they are 'compromising' with.

Was Neville Chamberlain on the Right or Wrong side of history?
Well you can if it's the Infernal Number of the Warp.

One of my first jobs back in the day was helping with insurance billing for a doctor's office - we had legitimate claims that were still being denied for payment for the doctor from the day I started there, to the day I left to college 2 years later. Talking about literally sending in the same paperwork a dozen times including at some points literally handing it to a local office in hand, with a notarized stamp with delivery date on it and everything - that they agreed was 100% legible at dropoff, that was then denied for being "unclear".

Perhaps socializing the system isn't the right way to go - but our insurance system needs to be firebombed regardless. It's literally an industry that spends most of its money on not paying, when it's there to pay for our healthcare costs. And drives healthcare costs to raise out of line with inflation.

(And mind you Singapore isn't really socialized, which is my preference - basically a mandatory HSA w/ a safety net for those that run out of HSA dollars for care - and with very little in the way of secondary insurance, prices stay quite flat)

And? Can still involve them in the discussion and let them spout their ideal while working towards a median that's tolerable.

I don't really disagree with you at all in basically that entire lengthy response. (besides bearing arms - I don't feel education requirements are out of line - I hate seeing nobodies flailing a pistol around randomly like a toy, but a trained person with deliberate aim I consider an asset but that's a real minor note)

As you said, the importance of free speech. Yea, his ideas are "Pie in the Sky" that are bad math - but again, that doesn't preclude him from being a voice in discussions to find something that everyone can agree on though. He should be involved as appropriate, and have someone that's a strong counterbalance to him.

Sure both extremes are likely going to be the least happy with any compromise, but boo-hoo for them - those of us towards the middle will be happy as clams for it.

Keeping Tolan and Khorum locked in here would make FoH instantly better. They're both the same person from the opposing political spectrums.
LOL don't worry. I'll make sure your wish is always at least half-fulfilled.

Time even says, openly, that they know that it's AgitProp, and still don't care.

They are going to run this AgitProp anyway, knowing that that is what it is, but are doing so because 'this is emblematic of the crisis that Trump has created'.

------

But no. No it is not emblematic of anything Trump actually did. It is emblematic only of how low the Left will sink in order to agitate against and retard the social fabric.

Devourers. Time Magazine is devouring that girl.

That’s why JC felt the need to correct it.
I don't get it.

The magazine cover is already an admitted and manufactured lie, admitted by the publisher of the cover-image itself. And yet it is somehow 'correct' for Jim Carrey to manufacture even more conceit and discontent by altering the cover in such a way as to somehow exaggerate the precise incorrectness that the original cover deliberately contained to begin with?

For what reason is this behavior justified by the likes of Jim Carrey? Drug use? Status as an elite bourgeoisie? Sycophantic worship by the proles of all things produced by Hollywood Pravda Hollywood?

Trump didn't do what Time depicts him as doing. They are lying and when questioned about it, they double-down by saying that this one particular lie is vindicated and worthwhile for the sake of their 'collective' readership.

There is literally no bottom to the depths of Leftist depravity. It is so much worse than anything else. Maybe not as bad as Islam, maybe, but that's a whole other debate.

Jim Carrey is to Leftism as Tom Cruise is to Scientology.

Right, JC didn’t think it was just for Time to cast Trump is an unfair light. So, he corrected it.

Justification? - Because someone should, and he can. Very powerful art coming from him. You should checkout his Twitter page.

Translation: "It is considered an act of 'justice' to inflate and exaggerate the truth if you should happen to find yourself having such the ability to do so and if the target is also not themselves a member of The Cult. In other words, slander is okay if it it used against non-believers."

This is called 'takfir' in those Arabic and European circles that like to suck Muhammad's cock. It is okay to 'takfir' a person if they go against The Cult.

That's pretty insulting to khorum. Tolan may have his issues, but he doesn't turn everything into a hyperbolic personal attack.
