This movie is so all over the place. Illegal immigration, cartels, human trafficking, financial crimes, John Wick super assassin clubs, "autism is a super power", and savant syndrome super hero's. They took every wokester, DEI, political hot button issue and tried to create a story out of it.
The most puzzling and totally unnecessary subplot has to be the lady that crosses the border as a frumpy Mexican immigrant, who gets in a car wreck, and turns into an Asian super killer assassin. Oh and she has an autistic kid, so Professor X and his of school of gifted young autists have to be interested in saving him.
Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal carry the movie as you would expect. It is all totally fine if you choose to be entertained and don't focus on how absurdly stupid it all is.

Skipped Gladiator 2. Read a bunch of spoiler reviews and decided the other Gladiator sequel scripts they had were better. They should have gone with one of those. Often times the first retarded idea is usually better than whatever they think is better. Lucas retarded sequel trilogy script would have been better than the sequel trilogy we got.
