How would you compare this to Cider? I'm not a real big beer drinker but I do love Shocktop and Leinenkugel's raspberry wheat and I recently tried Redd's apple ale and found it pretty good as well.

My favorite is ACE Pumpkin which is absolutely amazing, but only seasonal. The rest of the time I drink ACE Perry or Angry Orchard but I might switch to Shocktop if it's not as sweet or Redd's.
I tried mead the other day as well and it was ok but I don't think I could drink it often.

Actually never heard of them, I'll have to look for those. If you guys get a chance to try the ACE Pumpkin I highly recommend it, it should be out around October.

They're a brewery out of the UK. I've only had a few of their drinks, but haven't been let down yet. They're at Total Wine, not sure about BevMo.

I'm not sure how widely distributed their ciders are though... the beer is out all over (and good).

Gave this a shot after work this morning and it's actually drinkable, too bad it's only seasonal.
Normally don't buy something purely because of the marketing, but this time I paid for the label. Of course with Ommegang, it's always a safe bet that it be a good beer. Was pretty good. Not a style I tend to go for.

Had a "beer club" meeting tonight... focused on Bocks.
Here's the lineup:

Lake Superior Split Rock Bock
Summit Maibock
Schell's Maifest
New Belgium Hoppy Bock
Anchor Steam Anchor Bock
Schell's Bock
Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock
All pretty good, though I really just didn't like the Anchor Steam Bock. Schell's/Schell's/Summit were my top three, but I think that's because they were all weeks old.
