Well, I can explain the attitude of my xbros: They vote republican.
Selling a sub-standard product for a higher price. Invading our privacy, taking away our individual liberties (trading/selling our own property), and installing spy cameras in everyone's home. Trying to justify their scum-fuckery with vague kiddie-friendly slogans likeCloudhope,Futureproof, andmoving the industry forward. Microsoft clearly modeled the xbone's campaign after the obama administration. Cunt.

I also blame Obama for FISA, the PAA, the DHS and the patriot act!
Yea, Thanks Obama! Also he's to blame for Obamaphones! (That were added to the Lifeline program by George W Bush in 2005 - and are actually cheaper than the other phone services the program offers - was a smart decision and was made by someone else - but lets blame Obama!)

Is there a benefit in switching over to one of the launch day bundles, as opposed to ordering the game separately with my existing launch day order?

There's no discount for ordering these things bundled and there's always the risk of a game getting delayed.

ETA till the Lifeline program announces free ObamaBoxes?
ETA till microsoft starts calling all PS4 buyers racists and all pro-Sony arguments a smokescreen for kkk bigotry because the lifeline project gives a disproportionate number of government subsidized xbOnes to black people.

Those programs weren'tallbad when they were being used to spy on terrorists and their financial backers. Obama using them to spy on, harass, and intimidate his political opponents in the US is where things went to shit. But yeah, bad on bush for giving the presidency the potential to be a weapon without realizing an Obama might be elected someday and use that weapon against the american people. >;p

The ones that include a 12 month PSPlus card save $10... but realistically no real benefit - I'd not risk delay over $10 myself.

Keep your retardation out of this thread, please. Let's just talk about the actual thread topic.

Pretty much. If you have a launch day console already there really isn't a reason to get a bundle.

Ok, back on topic.

For anyone not sufficiently paranoid about mandatory kinect for xbone. Some of my AISD police friends say they've been given software that allows their IE browsers to ignore facebook privacy settings, and look at anyone's personal info/posts/pics. It's bad enough with the NSA doing this shit, now its glorified highschool security guards being given the power through inter-agency cooperation. Odds of similar shit happening with kinect?

If it can be hacked, it will be hacked. Thing is, if ppl find out how to hack into a kinect video feed MS would be murderd by press. I'm moderately curious if something like this Is possible since we're just discussing a console.

I'm guessing Facebook would have to collaborate for this to work? That is pretty Orwellian, though... wow.

But a surveillance warrant from the FISA court could easily compel Microsoft to transmit recordings from Kinect -- they wouldn't have a choice but to do it. Since the kinect has recording capacity and is always listening, it seemingly wouldn't take much to transmit that audio back to Microsoft.

Well, being that this PRISM program is receiving almost every email in the entire world, I don't think something as small as hacking an Xbox One will be difficult for the NSA. /Conspiracy

Pretty sure there's Facebook hacks out there for stuff that's listed but "private" via filters - I've been hassled by some people that shouldn't be able to see stuff through my privacy settings before.
