Will the console be always on? Wish they would address this issue. Took Sony less than a day to debunk it when the rumors started for the PS4. It would make no sense for it to be like that considering you would be excluding a rather large portion of the population in the world, or simply just vacation homes and places like that.
Also, the TV functionalities, will they work for the dozens of different broadcasting systems in Europe and such? I don't have any "smartscreen", so that is pointless for me as well.
EA, Forza and CoD....
So far, it seems like an always on livingroom media player with less functionality than a PC considering they probably have large security measures to avoid playing copyrighted/pirated media. Kinect that can monitor heartbeats? X-box 1984!
I am no closer to buying this now than I was before the conference. I've had most "consoles" since the C64. Even the Jaguar. This generation is weird as I do not want the Wii-U and now the Xbox One is.... If it is always on, I will not get it. Granted, I am just one purchase, I do not matter. But... I doubt I am the only one that feels this way.

Calling it now, The X1 will be he CoD Bro Box while most other crossplatform titles will be bought on the PS4/PC.
But it doesn't actually have DVR functions does it?? Just STB, which to me disqualifies it as a viable solution (not to mention it won't work for most providers).
Because all the "TV shit added in, multitasking, voice and motion control" probably isn't going to be free, and I have no interest in it?

Yep. Fairly sure you're going to see all sorts of TV shit from Sony as well. This conference was a freakin disaster.

Microsofts PR department has done an abysmal job the past 8 weeks of hyping this thing. It's had nothing but bad press, and then you drop this press conference on everyone? This? The Xbox might end up a superior system in every way to the PS4, but they've done nothing to engender good will with gamers up to this point. Not too late to turn it around mind you, but they'll have to really pull something out of their asses to get me to change my opinion on it. We'll see.
