Thing is when you write a story to fit an analogy without even understanding the history behind it and how it fits with your own character's motivation you end up with this slop. It's like they threw buzzwords in a woke madlib book.

Evil? He made God essentialy his self insert, and did it without any sense of irony or humor...

That said, I loved Supernatural until somewhere around the start of the next to last season. I do agree Kripke obviously got "infected with the mind virus"

Another unreported bit of work Erin had done which wasn't reported on near as much due to the catastrophe of her face (which she now blames on Grave's Disease which is an auto-immune thyroid thing) was that she got a boob job and pumped them up to the point she has some "porn boobs" going on. (Wider than her shoulder set to the point you'd see the sides from behind when she lifts her arms. heh)

At the end of Supernatural he wasn't really playing God. He was playing himself as the "creator" of that universe. A lot of religions work like that. Mormons all think they get to go start their own universe in the afterlife. I think Buddhism works similarly too. But he was clearly just writing the script as the story unfolded.

Plus he's jewish not Christian. Old Testament God wasn't exactly nice.

The last season needed to be a good Game of Thrones book with characters being impactful but dying left and right. But they don't have the budget to do that.

Too many gags not enough tits and gore. Too much Netflix not enough HBO.
