As much as it kills me to say so I don't think Rivers or Romo will make the HoF. I think both will have to win a Superbowl to have a shot.
Rivers probably should, given all the shit he has put up with in SD while still managing to make multiple Conference Championship games, but he probably won't. The jury is still out on Romo and he probably needs to get a ring to avoid being the next Dante Culpeper.

Chan Gailey is the new Jets OC.

Also, from Schefter RE: Bears OC:

Bears considering handful of OC candidates, including Charlie Weis, SF's Geep Chryst, DET's Jim Bob Cooter, DEN's Adam Gase. Weis intriguing

I'd like to think I'm a mature adult, but I can't help but snicker at a grown man being named Jim Bob Cooter.

Weis seems to be the inside track choice for Bears OC. Would make sense as Cutler needs a motivator if they are ever going to get their money out of him.

Rivers and Romo aren't even up for consideration for the Hall of Fame right now. Come on bros.

Didn't they sell out the superdome last year? They sold out American airlines center for a typical Monday night raw this week. I was there, it was awesome.

Right? Romo would have to be consistently good for another 5+ years to even have a whiff of consideration far later after he retires if he never achieves more playoff success than he has to date. Rivers reaching a couple AFC title games really doesn't move the needle for the Hall.

To throw out another possible comparison...what does everyone think about Donovan Mcnabb's chances at reaching the hall? Made it to a Super Bowl, 5(?) NFC title games, good numbers. Because if he isn't going in, neither Rivers or Romo have the resume to date to get a sniff I'd say.

They'll sell out. Wrestlemania is still big enough in that regard. Besides, Jerry loves feathers in his cap and the potential for a record WM crowd is just the sort of thing he would move heaven and earth to accomplish.

Is it just me, or did the Redskins totally fuck the first round trade value? I feel like it didn't cost as much to make a big jump before the RG3 trade. Does anyone actually have the definitive draft pick value chart?

They've had trouble selling out the big places before for Wrestlemania, Don't be so sure. WWE is in a huge lull at the moment.

Yup, I remember this, cause there was a cover somewhere showing them as if they were getting married. I hated Ditka for that though.

I was going to say he had a pretty good shot despite rotting in philly. Then I remembered there was already a black QB in the hall of fame. Although, since moon was an oiler, the voters might forget about him.
