My family is from Germany. Every year my grandmother would pack a huge metal tin full of german candy, right around the new year. Sadly, she passed away a few years ago.Love it, reading this thread while I'm on a ~700cal/day deficit makes me hate life a bit. American candy seem so amazing though, some of it we get over here but not all of it. A real shame that you get "Swedish fish" to represent Sweden though.

Seriously though, I've never seen Nestle Smarties in the USA and according to Wikipedia they're only carried here by specialist importers.

I really wish these were more common in the States. When I lived overseas I used to buy a couple of them a week...basically every time I went to the grocery store I'd grab one. I had a pretty nice collection of the little toys they came with, but I was never able to fully complete any of the series. I'd always come up short one from each.Is that a nut in the chocolate egg?
