I just ran all 5 directives when I was doing it with Core Str. Pop the drone as soon as you open the first door, then by the time you breach and get into position the turret should be off cooldown. Drone lasts for about 4 minutes with all the bonuses from that set so you never really have to deal with Cool Skills again.
