I'm definitely going to check that out Tower Records documentary because I probably spent years of my life in that original store (and the Tower Books they opened next door) they started in. There were others already by the time I started going, but they always talked about being the first one, and watching it expand all over the world was pretty cool. One constant from store to store was that you were practically guaranteed to see the exact same looking employees in all of them: tatted up, multiple piercings, weird hair, etc. It was kind of a big deal when they shut everything down several years ago.

Caught this today and was a really great story, stand-up comedian who helped establish the Boston comedy scene in the 80/90's goes after online child pornographers at the dawn of the commercial internet.

Nah don't really follow Rogan's podcast but was good to see he's just the same honest guy, so many good documentaries about stand-up comedians have come out these past couple years. Still need to catch the Bitter Buddha which is about Eddie Pepitone.

Listened to a really nice podcast on Spotify about the Manhattan Project. Under the tech section and HowStuffWorks.com. Two parts, each about an hour and ten minutes long.

How the cold war affected video games from Xbox Ahoy. His stuff from the last year or two isn't really Xbox or Call of Duty related and has great production quality.

I can't tell you how many people I've listened to call in and talk about "Night Hag" syndrome when its sleep paralysis. It's really pretty interesting the stuff our brains do to us .

I've had sleep paralysis before. Knew a dude who got it a lot, so I realized what was going on. It was pretty cool.

My wife gets this like twice a year, she knows it's sleep paralysis, will this doc freak her out or make her go "huh"?

Depends, most of the cases discussed in the movie are people who share similar attacks of "shadow people", their bodies attempting to stop breathing, and the same entities whispering or screaming to them while in paralysis.

Speaking of Brando, there's another documentary out there called Listen To Me Marlon. He seems to record every phone call he's ever had, many with famous people. But the audio is only his, never whom he's speaking to. They say it's a fascinating movie and really shows his mentality throughout life. The movie itself is audio from those phone calls, but they put it to pictures or whatever.

TryThe Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. This was a 6-part series that aired on HBO back in March. There was a Rerolledthread on it, but it didn't get too much attention.

It's based on the true story of a grisly murder, an unsolved disappearance, and a powerful real estate magnate in NYC. It's just a very,verywell-crafted documentary that won a few Emmys.

Warning - You might not want to Google the title or his name, as there has been some recent events since it aired that may be considered spoilers. Another warning - the total running time is about 4 hours and 30 minutes. If you start this one late at night, youwillbe up until the morning binge-watching it.
