I drove through DQ once and got a mushroom and swiss burger and they left off the hamburger patty. I've never been more angry about a fast food order because I was already 10 miles out of town when I realized it. Wasn't quite angry enough to go all the way back though so I just ate my soggy mushroom sandwich and cursed their name the rest of the way home.

New infuego muchaco at Taco Bueno is quite good. Its just a new jalapeño sauce but it makes quite a difference.

is that gray thing on the bottom the meat? what are you ppl eating at these gas stations?

Don't look at me. The last BBQ sandwich from a gas station I got was at a Buc-ee's and I watched that brisket come out of the oven.

In this scenario, its probably more of a case where food does weird things when you heat/cool it outside of optimum temperatures, similar to the floppy hershey bar videos

Buc-ee's breakfast bbq burrito is god tier. When I first got it I went in with low expectations because I thought "How can Buc-ee's live up to the hype" and it surely did.

The Burger King by me has maybe the worst pricing in the Continental US I feel. Chilis is next door and it's actually cheaper to buy a burger meal from there.

I hit taco Tuesday at Taco John's yesterday and got 5 crispy tacos and a large drink for ~$10. It sort of felt like the old days actually getting a bunch of crappy food for a reasonably low price. The idea that that would be something like $18 if it wasn't Tuesday is just wild to me. The only downside was they only gave me 4 packets of hot sauce for 5 tacos. I mean WTF?

I always go to the tacquieras when I want tacos. Go to any good working man's one and you can get 5 tacos and a drink for about 10$ every day. I usually settle for 3 tacos, because they'll shove a lot of free veggies in there if you ask, and 3 is pretty darn filling.

Unfortunately I live in the sticks and there's only one taco truck in a 100 mile radius and they charge $3 for a taco the size of a hockey puck.

I've been enjoying the heck out of the former but maybe it's time to hit the latter.
