Butter popcorn flavored Mike & Ikes were my favorite flavor. I also love the popcorn flavored Jelly Belly.

Smell and flavor are inextricably linked. I've never eaten something that smelled awful but tasted great, or smelled great but tasted terrible.

They are still two different senses. Yes, they work alongside each other, but the chemicals that go into scenting a candle are not even edible.

That said, I find saur kraut to have a stank smell but taste good. I've heard the same of durian. I've never tried durian though.

I don't think eating a whole scented candle would hurt you much, at least not in terms of poisoning/chemicals.

I almost bought dog treats a couple weeks ago at a craft bazaar because they looked exactly like cupcakes made for human consumption.
