Perhaps in the past, it wasn't a good idea to be unable to work because you were sick. If you're a farmer, you gotta do that farm every day. If you were born in the 40s and 50s, you were raised by people who had made it through the 20s and 30s. There wasn't Bobby fucking Flay back then teaching the middle class how to grill medium rare steaks, there was eat watery potato soup or die and work hard all day every day. Those people survived. Today, we have surpassed thriving, and are literally working on killing ourselves earlier because we are too fat and unhealthy.

Got the new (at least new here) Sriracha Kettle Chips.

Not hot at all and didn't taste awesome. 2/10 would not buy again

I bought a bag of these mango habanero chips the other day, 10/10 would eat again. They have the perfect amount of sweetness with a solid slowburn.

As for old folks and steak, my mom was of the opinion that any pink in a steak meant the whole thing was raw.
yea old ppl are deathly afraid of raw, hell took 20 years of my sisters and me to convince ma and pa to try sushi and loved it at 65.

they're both asian.

Jooka, my wife buys them at World Market. It's the only place I've ever seen them.

We get mini bags of the Luau BBQ at the micro kitchens at work so going to ask about them getting some there first

Worked at a supermarket for awhile, all the kettle chips were always in the natural food section
We only have the regular hawaiian sweet onion kettle chips out here, most of the stores in the area keep the kettle chips on a specialty shelf near the tortilla chips/pretzels.

Ahhh, I have never been down the natural food isle at any of the grocery stores in my area. The closest I get is when I have to pick up Kind bars or Lara Bars for my wife; and even when I do that I am filled with disdain.

Picked up some Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper and Mango Habenero. Thinking about warming myself up with the hab but diving right in to ghost pepper might make falling back on the hab seem a breeze. I can mostly handle hot stuff w/o a problem, but never tried the ghost.

Also checked everywhere in my Kroger and couldn't find any Hawaiian brand, hippie aisle and all.

It's pretty fucking hot. I really enjoy spicy food as well but this is a bit much. I'll finish it, but I'll never buy it again.

Triple Cheeseburgers at Mickey D's are godlike. They should be like $2 instead of $2.49 but whatever.
