I completely missed season 7. I watched the Season 8 armageddon stuff and was like, "WTF did I miss something?" Sure enough I did.
I remember us talking about dibney being canceled and that part sucked ass. But I don't remember anyone talking about the anti-vaxx mandate theme in a couple of episodes. The bad guy was trying to force frost to take a meta cure she didn't want. Didn't care that it might be dangerous for her. The people who made the cure warned against it and even tried to destroy it. It was all to fucking delicious.
On one hand, there's no way that was on purpose. But on the other hand, how could it not have been?
