I will echo a lot of the comments on the youtube video I watched: wish this was a single player game. I know this makes me sound like a boomer, but for the most part now I hate playing games with other people. Waiting around for raids and dungeons on old school MMOs burned me out for life.

IDK this looks like it is just online coop and single player so only pve, which is fine, but we'll see. I suppose Helldivers not having any meta progression or builds/loot is why I didn't play that, so if they can make this a fun game that's not entirely extraction shooter/lose everything on death then I might actually like this one. Though the horror thing worries me because while I don't mind grimdark and gore, it might get old real fast just being constant jump scares/low light/lens flares everywhere.

I'm getting some serious Once Human vibes from this game.
The only real difference is that they're trading the "Lovecraftian" setting for a Dystopian one. But, like Once Human, I have a feeling it's going to be janky as fuck and suffer from some weird performance/net code issues. That said, Once Human was still pretty fun despite all that, but also free. I don't think this will be, right?

The art direction and tone of this game is incredible. However, I'm concerned about the execution.
Regardless, I like the developer's perspective so I'm going to hop on and ride until they give me reason not to.

Yea it's kind of just a big unknown if they can actually pull off the gameplay part of this.
I played the alpha thing a bit and it was very much an alpha. Frames were non-existence, lots of pop-ip, floating textures, etc.
If they can figure it out tho oh my god it's gonna be so good
