After I posted in the What’d You Just Read about The Devils and my Broken Binding copy, someone mentioned he may have more planned in that universe.
Yeah it seems to me it will have a follow up.

Setting up the replacements at the end as well as the main baddy just walking away, I think we will see a follow up. I hope he keeps each arc to one book like he did this one and the middle three first law books, that’s when he’s at his best.

First Law is great but the three standalones that follow it are even better. They’re more similar to The Devils in structure but they’re in the first law world/timeline and share characters, so read those six in order. The trilogy after those I didn’t care for but others did. I was bummed at the end of Devils cause I wanted it to keep going, I may just have to go through his first six again. I may check out his young adult Viking trilogy too, I’ve never read that.
I haven't checked this thread in a while, but I still think the first trilogy is the best, but I do like the follow-up books. Still live not ever gotten around the reading the second two of the second trilogy, and I probably never will.

I haven't kept up with him as an author because I just wasn't interested in what he was doing, but I'll have to check out this new book if it's that good.
