Since they are lumping in the same day streaming numbers, I wonder if this week will still see an increase, even against the super bowl, since they are dropping the episode on HBO Max friday night. Would be impressive if it keeps grown, both for a 4th week, and on Super Bowl weekend.

The initial numbers are first run across HBO Max and traditional HBO cable TV subscribers (Neilson doesnt look at HBO max / HBO streaming so you can view HBO cable on the wiki), then total is combined for the week up to Saturday. For example the final season of game of thrones combined into 40-45 million account / station watches (they do not do total hours streamed like Netflix since they had shared password issues).
I would suspect this weekend will have a lower viewership due to Superbowl obviously, and due to ignorance to the episode coming out early, but the total numbers they would look for till the next episode should remain steady as people VOD / stream it until a more convenient time other then 9pm before the start of a work week. I think this is out preforming where they would project this series to be as even though its based on an IP, its not one that is traditional in the general audience sense, much like GoT wasn't before it took off as fantasy novels were not "popular" at the time.

She is an interesting character choice to be the one running a crew that took out a FEDRA compound. The last episode did not give us an answer as to why she has the power, but hopefully that answer is forthcoming.
On the surface, nothing about her said survivor, leader, or cunning dictator. She is a woman in a world where raw power has value in an uncivilized society. She is fat and frumpy, suggesting a lack of discipline and prowess in a world where your physique is going to in large part determine your survival. She is shown to be rash in her decision making, by killing the doctor who has a valuable skillset in a world where that skillset is going extinct.
Yet, the people with all of those characteristics still defer to her. They are going to have to give a pretty good plot-reason as to why she is the chief in control of the savages, otherwise it is a pretty gaping plot hole.

A lot of leaders people idolize aren’t physically strong either. Yes, physical strength can be a good attribute if you lead by that attribute alone, but that type of power structure is too easily challenged…especially if you get older.
Boiled down, a good leader is one who can convince others to do something and is able to successfully complete objectives (either through themselves, or supporters) that benefits the tribe/people as a whole.
The episode does call into question her credentials based on killing a valuable resource, but we would have to presume at least up to that point, she was doing something right. One thing that is clear is the hunters all feel collectively wronged by the prior regime and she is effectively using that hatred to get them riled up. That sort of motivation will disappear when they can’t find any more boogeymen, at which point they would manufacture new boogeymen, but their whole situation came across as a group that wouldn’t last too long in the scheme of things

They need to give her a golden goose type of knowledge or ability. Say, she worked at a nuclear plant and has the door codes and the knowledge on how to keep the power on. Or, she has family connections to another faction that is supplying their food on a weekly basis. Or, she is married to the muscle that is keeping the rabble in order.
Dumb examples, but examples nonetheless. If she is just some salty, fat frumpster that took power because "she got attitude", its going to be a major writing-fail and a bad casting decision.
