Reviews seem to be that it is mostly okay, and feels exactly like what we expected - that a 3 episode Season 4 arc and its wrapup in the season finale was converted to a movie, and is more aimed at kids, than as an actual action movie for adults.

No intention on seeing this shit, but I saw project hail mary a couple months ago. Totally worf. On top of that, I will be seeing dune later this year. I haven't been to two movies in a year in decades.

I was planning on making a post giving you shit, then I looked back on the movie releases this year....

I thought I was voting with my dollars or some shit by avoiding the movies but no they just aren't releasing anything except 4-5 movies a year I might even give a shit about lol

He-man comes out like 2 weeks after this, so they could hurt box office if reviews are middling. Most common complaint I saw about this film is they wrote it so someone who has never seen the Mando show could follow along, but as a result it feels very detached from the show in many respects and like an overly long “filler episode”

Surprised JP1 came out in 93, I could have sworn it was earlier. Probably mixing it up because Terminator 2 was first movie I watched more than once in the theater, and I also watched JP in the theater multiple times
