Hubie Halloween is hilarious. If youre a big Sandler fan, theres a ton of callbacks and easter eggs from all his previous movies.

It will be smacked down immediately on 1st amendment grounds. Political grand jury BS doesn't solve anything, they need to go after specific people for specific crimes and not make twitter bait.
Pretty sure child pornography is not covered by the 1st amendment.

Again, they would have to charge the specific person who filmed a specific scene for that. Netflix in general is free and clear under Miller v California, this was nothing but grandstanding and click bait.

Not really. Netflix funded it and is distributing it. Also Miller V California was for legal material was it not? If so that does not apply.

American Murder is very good especially if you've never read about the case. Even I, someone that reads a lot of true crime, had some stuff I never saw before. Especially the ending where he talks about how it went down.

If you have kids you will definitely be angry.

American Murder was one of the most rage inducing things I've ever seen and I'm convinced the guy is just pure evil. It's particularly weird when you think he was really pretty normal up until that day and his family seemed to genuinely love him (and vice versa). I suspect that he's in solitary 24/7 because normal killers (serial, cartel types etc) are probably gunning for him. Don't think they take too kindly to kid killers, especially their own.

Yea I think the only time I've been more horrified at a true crime story was watching Dear Zachary.

Dear Zachary was the absolute worst, I was a puddle at the end of it. It didn't help that the director/narrator himself absolutely lost it while unfolding the horrible truth of what happened. This one is probably "worse" but it doesn't ramp up the emotion like Dear Zachary did.

Dear Zachary was particularly bad just because of how sudden it was. I think it's important for people to watch, but I'll never get the image out of my head of me holding my 4 month old son in my lap because he couldn't sleep and watching that movie because someone told me it was good.

Chris Watts is for sure a sociopath. There's a reason serial killers can just blend in. Family annihilators are something else, a very special hell exists for those people.

What? None of this is true.

That's the opposite of what Miller vs California says, but that's not even relevant anyways.

You actually believe you're allowed to distribute child pornography as long as you're not the one that filmed it??

The Keepers is pretty bad too. To the point I wish I hadn't watched it.

Yea that one was bad. But, and it's definitely not some kind of fucked up competition... but

When that mother fucker describes how his kids came in and noticed their mom lying on the bed dead, and then he decided to wrap her up in front of them, load them into the car while they were asking questions, take them all to his jobsite, and then wrap towels around their head, while they were still alive and asking him questions, and just dump them into giant silos filled with oil to drown alive. I almost threw up

Just do yourselves a favor if you haven't already. Don't watch American Murder or Dear Zachary.

It's insane. And it's more insane because of all the first hand footage. Like they have EVERYTHING on video except the actual murder. Too many cameras everywhere these days! Like hours after the crime, the neighbor runs over w footage, and he tells the cop "This dude aint acting right he did something wrong" as he's showing the footage of the guy loading the wife into back of truck - fuck man!!

I watched about half of it with my kids, a good YA-type movie, entertaining.
Skimming this thread half asleep is not a good idea. I had to get through the cuties BS and somehow thought you watched that with them.

Speaking as someone who has been divorced (my choice), I will never understand the sick fucks (men and women) who feel killing their family (or having someone do it for them) is ok when they want to go fuck someone else. Don't get me wrong, I am annoyed to this day each month that check gets cut to my ex, but the thought of strangling her wasn't an option. A fantasy perhaps, but never an option. American Murder was pretty obvious almost from the get go, but the style of how they shot it using texts and social media posts was interesting.
