He doesn't care about being a celebrity though. He just wants to play football.
As a paramedic for a private company, I am at times enlisted to perform PR functions. Usually it isn't much. Sometimes we give tours to kids at shows or at their schools. Sometimes we have to go be a standby crew and de facto 'judges' at events like the' Golden Age Games'.

They are singing 'Royals' by Lorde. It is their skit for the competition I have to judge.

In no way did I ever sign up to do any of this. Put me back in my truck and set me loose on the streets. I don't want to be here. But I have to do this sort of stuff from time to time in order to help keep the lights on back at base. In order to keep me in my truck.

This is water.

im on the other side. these guys are celebrities because we collectively care enough. the least they can do is PR
We care because they play football good, not because they have a heartwarming story. This media blitz before the superbowl is just a distraction.

I'd rather see the players' wives and girlfriends out there doing this. In short skirts.

To be fair, they might have wanted you there just in case of a random medical emergency brought on by them getting all excited. I assume all of those people had some medical problem in common. What was it?

You shouldn't have to do it if you don't want to. Either way, last year he paid a fine for not going, this year he went. People crying about the way in which he answered questions is silly. He doesn't want to be there, but he's not required to respond a certain way.

They're still getting a ton of PR out of it.

Also how is him repeating that any different than Belichick repeating over and over "We are on to Cincinnati" or the players who do talk spouting the same bullshit cliches "Just trying to take it 1 game at a time"?

I actually find his aversion to media pandering quite refreshing. He has two options say nothing (or what equates to nothing) or say what someone else wants him to say (essentially nothing).

If I were his financial advisor I'd have a different opinion for sure. Could he has a doctor diagnose him with a personality disorder and exempt himself from the requirement?

so large duffle. so how to ensure you only take one...once...

still is going to take a good 8sec per ball though even rooting through the duffle.

no way it's anything beyond the dude had to go...
What? Stick needle in ball for 2 sec then move on to the next. Overdramatizing each and every slight movement somebody makes doesn't change the fact that 8 seconds per ball is a long ass time to take 1-2 psi out of a football for anyone who isn't functionally retarded

I don't think this gives them any real big advantage or it would have made the slightest difference in that game, though

The shit with Lynch only proves the NFL needs a more powerful players union. This shit doesn't go on in MLB.

"I'm just here so I don't get fined"

which btw he will get fined because he was wearing an unapproved non league "Beast Mode" hat
That was yesterday, today was "You know why I'm here" over and over.

I'm not sure if he'll get fined for the hat, it's still from New Era which is the brand the league uses as well. It would be silly to fine him for the hat honestly.

The Superbowl media blitz is stupid and Marshawn Lynch is a petulant child who can't stuck it up and act like a human being for the cameras even though he is getting paid millions of dollars to play a kids' game. Fuck both of them.

Anyone who would rather listen to Pro Athlete #5409837859408 drone on about "taking it one game at a time" over Marshawn's shenanigans is fucking retarded. You people who are actually butthurt over him must literally have no joy in your lives whatsoever. Crusty fucks.

"EVERBODY HAS DO STUFF DEY DONT LIKE FUR DHERE JOB HURRRDURRRR!"

Dipshits. Marshawn Lynch is a national treasure.

I don't want to listen to either of them and I don't. That doesn't mean Lynch isn't a crybaby though.

I'll tell you what, if you want to have some fun go to a Seahawks fanpage/blog/facebook page and say that the NFL should suspend Marshawn Lynch for the Super Bowl for his media antics.
