So their Kicking ball was underinflated too... The kicking ball.

I'd laugh if the NFL came out and said they were sabotaged.

K-Balls are handled independently from the game balls and are not at the team's discretion. They aren't allowed to touch them before the game starts.

Petitions for Colts/Ravens replay are hilarious. I feel like most real football fans who are not a rival of the Patriots or a whining Colts/Ravens fans have that "does anyone really give a shit" look on their faces.

So using the correct units (IE, adjusting for psia) 70 to 48 is 1.2 psig. So, really? This is a thing? Reports 'balls dropped by 2 psi' with field tests. I mean, come on... EVEN IF they purposefully did something like inflate them on a heating vent or with hot air or something done, their gain was .8 psi below minimum regs after adjusting for ambient temperature?

And if you find out that all 32 teams are doing this?

Because to me it sounds like they were breaking a rule that no one takes seriously and everyone ignores.
Sure seems like people are taking it seriously. Maybe you should open your eyes?

Patriots don't do anything any other team doesn't do, they just suck at doing it without getting caught.
They suck at doing it without getting caught... because everyone and their fucking mom are whiny little jealous shits who have somehow convinced themselves that no other team does this kind of stuff (even ignoring the plethora of posts in this thread relating to other people doing identical or similar things), probably because they can't read the fucking text through all their tears. This results in extra scrutiny towards anything and everything a Patriot does and total ignorance of any wrongdoings relating to other teams.

And if you find out that all 32 teams are doing this?
I guarantee he doesn't respond to this hypothetical by saying all 32 coaches should be suspended and lose their entire drafts along with being fined $1,000,000 like he wants to happen to Belichek. I'd be willing to bet the remained of my life's internet accessability on it if there was any way we could actually make that bet happen.

If it's a stupid rule that all 32 teams ignore, fine, but you still get a ticket if you're the one the state trooper pulls over for going 10 over when everyone else on the highway is doing the same thing. And the fines and penalties get worse if they keep catching you breaking rules. It shows that you know better and just don't care, like Gilg said. And you're supposed to care, at least in the minds of the people making the rules.

more players coming out of the woodwork bewildered why this is a story

Joe Theismann

"I wanted to physically handle the footballs and see if I could tell a difference in them, and I couldn't."

Dan Marino

"The last thing you're thinking about as a quarterback when you get to the line of scrimmage is, 'I wonder if this football is 2 PSI lighter?' "

Doug Williams

"but it could have happened to me, I don't know. When it's cold, the football is going to be harder to catch no matter what the pressure is. But I don't know that I ever would have noticed it, if it was one pound or two pounds more or less."

Darrell Green

"We're talking about a millimeter, which is very insignificant in the scheme of things. To use the term deflated is an over-exaggeration. It's not truly deflated. The only reason this is a story is because it's about this coach who is known for these kinds of things in the past. Otherwise, it would be a non-story."

If they didn't punish people for Roids all the players would use them and then sue the NFL for their failing livers. You know, because NFL players are not adults who know the consequences. Kind of like how the players association is suing the NFL for not keeping players who said they were healthy to play out of games because they had a concussion. Proving, once again, NFL players can not think for themselves.

Does it all really matter? Seattle is going to lose anyways because Sherman is on the cover of Madden this year.

I have to admit I chuckled at "Seadderall". Is that actually a performance enhancing drug though? I thought it was for ADHD/studying/getting addicted to.
