Didn't deflate or didn't deflate below the threshold? One gets you clicks the other is yawn material. You'd think after all the media circus and bull shit from other events that didn't turn out nearly as reported people would have a slightly better filter for this stuff.

They were legal before the game and legal at half time, the Patriots balls were legal before the game and illegal at halftime.

Yes, but the "easier to catch and throw in the rain" argument falls apart since the Patriots played significantly better once the balls were swapped out, even thought it began to rain even MORE in the 2nd half.
