It's funny the other 2 QBs that won superbowls with the giants were Phil Simms, and his backup Hostetler. Both considered sub par.

I doubt Eli will make the HOF

I don't think Eli will get into the HoF unless he has a good record for the majority of the rest of his time in the league.

Simms did go 22 of 25 for 268 and 3 TD's though. Maybe not the biggest stat line but that's about as efficient as you can get in the big game.

That was my first thought. There are plenty of players on multiple-Super Bowl winning teams that aren't in the HoF.
Charles Haley still isn't in the HOF, that alone is enough to cast doubt on anyone because Haley based off merit alone should have been in the HOF a long time ago.

if Eli gets in, it's because of who he beat - which is clearly not the best way to determine who's eligible for induction. beyond that, he wasnt even the best player in those games... he threw 2 passes over 2 games that separate him from a Dilfer like superbowl reputation. "Yea he was there, but didnt factor into the win"

is russ wilson considered if he wins again? apparently he just needs to lose the next 7 ish seasons and win 2 SBs
Depends on how he plays in this one. But I would say no at this point, mostly because he wasn't anything more then a game manager last year. However, his play this year has vastly improved to the point where he is actually sinning games instead of just not losing them. Even in the green bay game which was statistically his second worse game ever he delivered three drives when it counted. So if he can keep getting the Seahawks in to the playoffs for the next four or five years and/or gets a third ring (assuming they win this year), then I think he will get in.

I listened to an interview with Tannehil and his wife last night. He picked the Seahawks and the radio guys were kind of razzing him saying hey what about supporting your AFC! He replied there is no way you can support a division rival and was basically like lets go Seahawks! Was pretty fun to listen to.

He's a hardcore college football fan and does not fuck around with rivalries. I remember they were interviewing him when he joined the league and he didn't even know the NFL divisions.
