I don't know why everyone is more mad about Ellen Page playing Achilles when fucking Lupita Nyong’o is playing Helen of Troy AND Clytemnestra who is only a half-sister so it's not like they'd have looked much alike.
Slow boiled frog effect from watching too much Made for Netflix. Plus making fun of Ellen Page won't get you in the cross sights of a Planet of the Apes level chimpout. Look at how the groids formed ranks around that alien pretzel bitch in wicked. Trannies are toxic enough now that they are fair game. Everyone hates them, even most of the left ever since they got Lesbians kicked out of the DEI clown car.

Probably as likely as you sticking a Trojan horse up your ass when it flops, or at least some type of Trojan...
He will just move on to the next "current thing" and pretend this never happened, like the last hundred times he has sperged out over his NPC programing like this. Its like how the left cannot wrap their brains around how no one gets pissed at Idris Elba playing Heimdel but somehow we are still racist because we can't stand all the black inserts for DEI with no talent ruining shit. Ellen Paige could not act and was barely entertaining before she lopped off her tits and went all skeletor. There is zero reason to think she has gotten any better.

Felen of DeTroyt is so obviously a bad choice that most people are not even bothering to mock it anymore. And while its possible to hire some random black dude with zero acting experience and have it work out (RZA, several comedians, and hell I would even give OJ a nod for the Naked Gun movies), it usually does not work at all. And since we know absolutely no blacks are going to watch a greek mythology movie (and if they due it will be pirating it), its blatant DEI checkbox tokenism. And Nolan has always been making political statements in his movies, it just has not been so blatant until recently. I think Oppenheimer made him think he could get away with anything.

Aside from all of the other reasons we think this will be a piece of shit, let's not forget the whole "they didn't have orchestras back then" bullshit. What are the chances that a Christopher Nolan movie has an amazing fucking soundtrack without an orchestra? I mean, it might be decent and we might not really notice its lack unless we are looking for it, but one thing about Nolan's movies is that they were almost universally recognized for having standout soundtracks that you can't help but notice. Fuck, Inception literally rewrote movie trailer sounds with the "BWOOOOONG" sound.

Can a movie have good music without an orchestra? Absolutely. Can an epic mythological tale with a massive budget, special effects, action set pieces, etc. have "holy shit" level music without an orchestra? I'm skeptical to say the least.

With Ellen Page, Zendaya, Travis Scott, and whatever that ugly black chicks name is, there is zero chance I ever watch this piece of garbage.

Not like Matt Damon, Tom Holland, or Anne Hatheway have ever had memorable performances. Maybe when Hathaway was 20 in that titty flick. Damon is really only famous for being Ben Afflecks side piece on the down low.
Well that settles it

Bald Brah won't watch it

What will you do if it turns out to be a masterpiece?

Are you guys gunna samurai honor yourselves?
I'd say "dang, I was wrong, this turned out great in spite of its retarded casting and aesthetic choices."

Then I would delete the pirated film from my hard drive.

Matt Damon did a nice job as Jason Bourne. He is not the reason I would not watch this movie.

The Departed is easily the best movie he has been in and certainly a memorable performance. As is every "main" character in that movie. Hell, even the side characters; as Wahlberg has some of the most memorable lines/scenes.

Yeah, but just imagine the epic battle scene with this banger in the background? It's got over a billion views, so that's how you know it's good.

I hope the doesn’t bomb, because if it does, it’ll be one more reason not to make historical epics. My interest declines each time it pops up in the news. It did get me to reread Homer at least. I finished the Iliad last week and started the Odyssey this week.

I don’t think there’s a faithfully accurate l historical epic out there, but I still love them. Well, maybe Apocalypto, but an Odyssey with a full Greek cast, period accurate costumes and dialogue in classical Greek, directed by the arch bigot himself is probably too much to ask for.

It isn't. The problem is that the people you're asking are a bunch of retarded pedophiles.

Personally, I think Rounders is the best Matt Damon movie.

Regardless, he clearly HAS had many memorable performances. Kinda doubt this will be one of them though.
