What Gavin said. For some context, Zoraster based belief systems were the fundemental building blocks that would eventually form the basis for many aspects of western religions, as well. But like just about everything else in that part of the world, it got mostly stamped out or sidelined by the great Durka vs Shekel conflicts.

Give me an anime version of The Odyssey where it turns out the Greek pantheon are actually hyper-advanced alien spacecraft who have effectively enslaved mankind. Odysseus is joined by Jason and the crew of the Argo as they set sail to fight for the freedom of humanity. The part 1 finale is Orion using a bow made by Hephaestus (who is all that remains of the 'gods' who rebelled against Zeus) to fire his soul into orbit to destroy the Athena weapon platform that was protecting the final approach to Olympus.

Would be less disrespectful to the original works than whatever this is shaping up to be.

Got a link? Searching for that does nothing.

That said, I've heard forever that Zoroastrianism predates Judaism (e.g. it was the first monotheistic religion), and looking it up that claim seems pretty dubious? Religious doubters will shit all over the Bible as a source you can't trust because it's a religious text, but Zoroastrianism has essentially no evidence whatsoever to back up its date claims and yet people claim Judaism borrowed heavily from it.

In fact, best I can tell, Zoroastrianism borrowed heavily from Judaism as it emerged around the second temple period. Borrowing things like monotheism and animal sacrifice as opposed to human sacrifice.

there is an argument that during one of the exiles the judaic beliefs influenced Zoroastrianism and why there is significant drift in mainstream Judaism and the Samaritans.

Only if it's shaped like a trojan horse or a sandworm butthole
I actually wanted the sandworm butthole because it was a hilariously stupid design and I would make my kid get his popcorn through it if I would’ve got it. Hope they sell it again for part 3.
