Dude has been financially insolvent for a few years, house was listed, had a shit tax return this year, and just a few days before he axed himself, his biographer died. Anyone who's given any attention to this guy and his numerous scams, cons, and lies mixed with truths knew this was coming eventually.

But sure, maybe the MIB finally mind melded with him and forced a suicide for publicly acknowledging the triangle headed aliens from Cappa Cappa Newfie PRIME were in fact the shadow legion from Banjo Kazooie Theta.

I know nothing about this guy, but if I was in the conspiracy theory community and decided to kill myself I would definitely do what I could to make it look like the CIA took me out just for the sake of my legacy in the community.

Definitely a good perspective, interested to see what the missing/dead scientist story leads to. The sudden onset plus the media attention it's getting leads me to believe they are manufacturing something. Usually when they'd off folks, like what they did to leading virologists years ago, it barely made the news.
