I like it. The Widowmaker 3.5 is fun. It works on the Joro Spiders that have infested the state of Georgia. On the big ones it might take a couple extra shots. I do not have many flies but I look forward to at least stunning a giant cockroach. Its feels well made. The red dot was already fairly lined up to site but they include the Allen wrench to adjust it. One added touch I like is how the rear site pops up when the gun is loaded. It is a definitive way of knowing the gun is loaded. I also appreciate that the gun does not "look" like a real gun.

Nah I'm in the Nashville area.
The little measuring cup it was supposed to come with! It wasn't in the box! Though in the manual I think the cup was equal to 3/4 cup of rice IIRC. How long is the rice good for once its in warming mode? I made some of the Calrose last night and it was pretty good, but left it on keep warm overnight and it was still just as good this morning. Ate some with breakfast.

if you want more varieties take a trip to the K&S on the west side, i mean you can also goto the K&S on the south side, i prefer the west side b/c the produce seems fresher, while the south one is owned by mexicans and they seem to have more mexicans shopping there, which wouldn't be a problem if mexicans learned to fucking move their carts.
so anyway rice is super easy to buy on west side k&S it's literally right at the front door

if you want to try jap imported rice i believe sonobana had some, but ask them if it's imported (b/c you can't tell if it's imported or domestic, well 1 way to tell is if it's weight is 5kg and of course all japanese, thats how it's sold in japan)
they also have 3 ladies jasmine rice (big bag)
if you live more near the east, antioch side, you actually have a few more smaller korean options to shop at too
(you really don't have to worry about getting "bad rice" in nashville, even costco has the homai brand and my korean friends like it)
yes if you want to have exact measurement 1 cup of asian uncooked rice is 3/4 of a measuring cup
i wouldn't have the rice longer than 18hours and its normal for many familys to make rice at night and keep it on warm for the night to have a side of rice for breakfast like you did

koshihikari is just a strain? of the japonica rice (i guess like granny smith vs red delicious apples), kosh is the major one japs have or prevalent, cal rose is just another strain (from california), if you really want to have memberberries of eating rice in japan, then yea pony up a bit for koshihikari (also ppl grow koshihikari in california, so theres both imported/domestic)
theres also nishiki, which i actually don't like as much (but you know everyone has preferences)

I have one of the original ones; don’t know if it’s 1.0 or whatever, but unless it has been improved significantly, I can’t recommend it. I need to be within a foot of a fly that has landed to score a hit that stuns the critter. Nine times out of ten I scare them off with my approach. Around these parts, paper wasps are the prey more often than flies. A wasp that’s mad at you because you scared it with some salt is very different than a pissed off fly.

I am looking for a camping stove. Like a 2 burner propane thing preferably. Something I can hook up to a standard propane tank you buy from the grocery store.
The only ones made in USA though are the Coleman Dual Fuel burner which takes White Fuel or Gasoline. Do I just need to buy an ancient Coleman to get one that isn't a Chinese POS?

Partner Steel is 100% US made but really, really expensive.
Camp Chef makes good stuff that is mostly US made using offshore parts.
Or like you say, you could get an older US or Canadian made Coleman gas stove and convert it to propane with this adaptor. Stansport Adaptor.
If you spend some time, you can find some older US made stuff on eBay or better yet, at yard sales. I have this 1963 Turner I got many moons ago from my FIL.
I still like using gas stoves and lanterns, There's something very nostalgic about the hissing they make. They work well, are efficient and nothing says camping quite like burning all the hair off your arms lighting a stove. I bought this one at a yard sale for $1. 1987 425F. These things are everywhere for cheap.
I could convert this to propane with the adaptor I linked above and have a terrific USA made propane stove. The adaptor's probably Chinese.

Yeah, I played with mine all weekend. My red dot was zero'd very well. Blew away a couple of ants and had the kids scouring the house for flies or mosquitos but we never found any, almost went out side and started plugging stuff around bushes.
Shot my hand with it and damn thing stung pretty good. Just wanted to see what actual force was coming out with the salt and can confirm; it has some oomph.
Need to talk to a friend about 3d printing a couple of accessories that would be fun. Still think a top and/or side pic rail would be cool for a cheap red dot. I'd like to see about replacing the endcap on the laser and moving the push button to a more accessible location while holding the foregrip. A cheek riser would be cool too. I'm going to start a Bug-A-Salt accessory side business with my friend and make billions is what I'm saying.

The Coleman I posted is not a dual fuel stove per se. But, truth be told, all Coleman stoves past and present will run on White Gas or Unleaded gasoline. It's just that the older ones like mine are less tolerant of the junk in unleaded gas and will require more frequent cleanings.Isn't the bottom one the dual fuel type?
