Yes, people saying mean words to you after you go out of your way to provoke them and won't leave them alone is worse than someone keying a sticker on my car.
Now if I took a pile of bumper stickers for Trump and plastered them all around someone's house, all around their sidewalk, all around their car. Put ones all over the faculty lounge, etc, then you are damn straight I would have brought it upon myself if they defaced the stickers or my car.

I mentioned her name as an example of something someone could be perceived as supporting in order for any way they are treated to be considered "earned". The discussion is in no way about her. We are not discussing her. How much clearer can I make it? How many arguments with me devolve into somebody nitpicking about something completely unrelated to the point being made?
