No but your report did come 45 minutes after my warning. Anyways, that's a moot point. The process was there, you just didn't read your PMs. I didn't RRP you anyways, I just wanted the facts laid out.

No, you wanted to make it look like I was ignoring warnings and trolling mods, which I wasn't. I wanted an objective shitposter's behavior to be addressed and I tried to do that by flagging the many relevant posts, each time genuinely surprised that nothing had been done yet. I wasn't abusing the report system, I wasn't trying to "be a dick", and I didn't even realize that it is apparently such a huge annoyance for mods to receive (relevant, valid) reports. I would have imagined after 5 or 6 reports (if not much sooner), SOME mod would have said "Really? Gavin's still going with that shit? FFS, let's give him a warning before he gets the whole thread rickshawed" instead of "What? Another report from Tanoomba? RRP him!" I don't know, maybe every time a mod gets a report, a loud siren blares in their house while it's flooded with bright, flashing lights. If so, I genuinely apologize, I did not mean to cause such a disturbance. All I was doing was reporting shitposts and being ignored.

When I advocated to mass petition problems in order to get a response faster in EQ I was suspended. Of course it's an effective tactic to get attention and GMs couldn't shit on valid requests for customer service, but they hated anyone advertising this tactic as their support list would explode. Of course mass petition in that case was "all 50 of the affected group petition once" in order to signify that a big problem just happened.

Unless they turn it off, when a reported post comes in, mods do in fact get an email, which, if they have that email attached to their phone, very possibly does give them an irritating alarm of sorts.

I get it. The warning was justified and, had it been noticed, would have stopped further reports.

I do find it strange, however, that while several mods' phones were ringing left and right, causing no small annoyance, not a single one thought to address the actual shitposting problem. There WAS actually a problem there being alluded to by my annoying reports, and a simple warning to the offender would also have prevented further reports from me.

Just sayin'.
