Full disclosure, I was on my phone outside and kept getting shitty emails. So I go to rerolled.org, switch to full site mode, see the 10 or so reports and think "I better stop this dude", so I go through the process of trying to give you a warning on my phone.

Last time I tried to touch that thread people got butthurt, so someone else will have to deal with it. We had hodj, but.. you know.

I'll look at Gavin's extensive and colorful posting history in that thread later.

There was no abuse. I reported actual shitposts, as Tuco instructed to do in the Ask Amod thread. Any RL annoyance that was caused was unintentional and I apologize for that. Is there such thing as a non-petty grievance here? I've never been reported for anything other than petty grievances, so I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. And yes, if the problem had been in any way addressed, the annoyance factor (which, again, I was unaware of) would have disappeared instantly.

You know what would have the same effect as banning me? Not going out of your way to come into the Rickshaw where I post almost exclusively in order to bitch about me. And I don't use any alts, so arbitrarily banning people for mistaken association with me does not sound like a good way to run a message board. On the other hand, it's happened before so I guess I wouldn't be too surprised if such a thing happened again. The best part would be how supposedly anti-censor people would undoubtedly cheer such a decision, oblivious to the irony.

TBH I would have flat out banned him for 10 + reports on Gavin's posts in that thread, and let Tuco decide whether to undo the ban or not whenever he got around to giving a shit, which from what I could tell while I was mod in regards to A Moon Bat would have been shortly after "Never" and slightly before the return of the non existent Jesus Christ figure.

I would classify any rapid succession of reports 'bullshit' unless it was extremely severe and demanded immediate and drastic action. Such as child pornography, snuff, threats, etc.

See, the thing is the public has already decided I should not interact with the commoners. I originally took issue with this but have since found out it works out better for both sides. This is the one legit thing I will give Hodj credit for, bless his heart. I get to talk into the wind, you get to never hear a word about it unless you go out of your way to check it out. Do you guys overreact much? I think most of us have no clue, that a report leads to "massive annoyance" at the work place of mods. Now after Soygen explained it you all go apeshit about it and ask for a ban of Tanoomba? That faggot even self contains himself to the rickshaw now, but you retards still come here to get bent all out of shape and crying for blood.

And shitposting in the Gamergate thread is basically an universal human right by this point.

Ridas, you seem to see the fact he sticks to this thread as a mitigating factor for his annoyance with reporting. I think it makes it worse. He hides in the shaw to shitpost (where reporting him would do nothing) while spamming reports on other people he doesn't like. That is just silly weak shit.
