i would say it holds up even moreso today, because if this show were made in 2022, it would be full of woke justifications and modern political nonsense, but as it is, it tells the truth of the situations as they were at the time.

I just watched it all during the pandemic and it was pretty good. It’s definitely a very very slow burn and narrative driven show.

It's still great. The fact that it's in the flip phone era makes it a lot different than it would be today, but that's not a negative at all. Worst part is that it was shot on video in the pre-HD era, but I think they've made it look half decent.
