True Story here- I had a dorsal column stimulator installed , test by my pain mgmt doc at the time final by a surgeon she worked with. She said his name was Patrick McNulty. I said 'like the guy on the wire'. She said yeah sure maybe it's the same guy' I said 'boy I hope not, the guy on the wire is a drunken man whore'.

Accidentally came across a clip titled mcnultys wake while looking up some scenes after season 1 or 2. Obviously didnt watch it, so went through the whole show expecting him to die.
