I think I have a lower gaming bar than most people here. The game is fun. The environments were some of the best looking ones I've seen in any game (I thought Madison Square Garden was amazing). Of course they have the opportunity to make end game fun. The fact that it does not perfectly fit the mold of something that has come before should make us excited instead of doubtful, shouldn't it? Be positive folks!
Welcome to the most jaded community on the planet. You will enjoy your stay here.
I think the majority of us are realists.
Pros:
* Graphical fidelity and sound
* Open world Gameplay
* Storywise it looks decent
* DZ's are fun to fuck with people in
Cons:
* Clunky gun play and consumable UI
* Anti Cheat mechanics have not been showcased with a company that doesn't have a lot of faith left from their consumers
* No end game has been talked about from a company that doesn't have a lot of faith left from their consumers
* Lack of meaningful content and cut content
* A stop start from April 2014.
This is Ubisoft we are talking about. There is ZERO faith in Ubisoft. They are possibly a bar above EA and that would be the best compliment I think they could deserve on a good hair day.
No one here is talking about fitting perfectly into a mold we have seen before. If anything, people here are talking about differentiation factors as to why to move forward with the game and how that's a positive. Ubisoft is shooting themselves in the ass by not announcing end game content aside from level 27 bullet sponges. Which at this late stage of the game leads me to believe that since they restarted this project 2 years ago, they do not have a road map for that - and that should worry folks.
