TPB can still be accessed via proxies. search for proxy bay and you can find a list. I have no experience using TPB through them so I don't actually attest to them being safe to use, but TPB isn't safe to use to begin with. Be cautious and use some noscript/adblock condoms with careful examination of the downloads and you should be fine.

Also, you can sometimes still find older games on rarbg

So my gimmepeers sub just expired, and not sure if it's worth paying the $50 to get another year or if there's a better option? I always relied on that over most others i've seen because it seemed pretty virus-free. Mainly download movie Xvid's currently but would be up for whatever format as long as i can get it to play on Plex.

Is there a better option?

I suppose that also means if the better option requires an invite I'd appreciate one! I used to have street cred it's probably all faded off by now though =\

tried again, got called a bot and locked for 6 hours

Just got an account thanks to my best bud @a_skeleton_03

Anyone have some hot tips on ways to pump some comfortable seed #s? I remember doing really well a few years ago before my account got closed for inactivity by seeding some national geographic shit for months.

Get 10 seeds sitting there and always seeding. That's really about it.

I sorted the master list of torrents by leech count and ended up with a 3.7GB office install. We'll see how it does overnight!

I remember dropping out of IPT before because suddenly I couldn't seed anymore. I never figured out if it was something on my end or something AT&T is doing.

Ten files will max out your bonus point accrual and from there on it's pretty simple to keep things running smooth with them.

Typically, on our pleb American upload speeds, you won't end up seeding that much, but you sometimes get lucky. Like if you stay on top of the releases of GoT show or something, you'll get some sweet upload there regardless of your upload speed.

But with IPT, it's exactly as a_skeleton_03 said. Just get 10 torrents going, doesn't matter the size, and let them seed forever to get the bonus points.

So four days later my upload amount on the best ratio torrent I could find (some office 2016 torrent) is 212MB.

I set my router to port forward TCP traffic on the port I use to this PC and check that it's open on
Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router

I also tested some TPB torrents to verify I could seed wih them, and they started seeding immediately. In the below screenshot I'm uploading at like 10mbit. When I look at the peers I see a healthy list for the office torrent, but I never send them any bits.

I don’t think you understand how torrent works as a technology.

A peer is going to try and negotiate with the fastest seeds in its list. You aren’t it on a private tracker most likely. You could be it on a public tracker with thousands of people dropping in and out and all over the world.

The reason you are seeding 10 random things on IPT is for the bonus points that you will spend to fix your upload ratio by nuking downloads you have done.

If you want ratio, a 3 year old upload with 2500 seeders isn't the way to get it. When I joined, I grabbed a few of recent megapacks from the freeleech section and forgot about them for a month or two. Not a ratio tweaking expert, but since that initial farming effort I haven't intentionally seeded anything beyond the required time, and I still have ratio for days. Megapacks have some staying power, and fewer people will seed them since they eat disk space. Top item in the freeleech list now is a 100g nintendo pack with 25 seeders/20 leechers. That's going to outperform all your old shit by leaps and bounds.

Yea Tuco, for IPT, it's all about your upload speed, and between seed boxes, and the few out there with bi-directional fiber, etc, we ain't gonna seed for shit. Normal home internet just doesn't have the upload. I think I'm 5up? Stupid Comcast.

i haven't really used my account on it at all but i recently joined exoticaz.to which is supposed to be a decent porn torrent site, i think its open registration and it has freeleech torrents you can use to build up ratio

Spend the 25$ and get a seed box for a month. I had 15tb? and 12000 bonus points after a month.

It's the cheapest content on Earth. And removes any thought regarding seeding ever again.

For reference, that pack was worth about 50g for the week, with half of that on the first day. Not as good as I though, but definitely not bad to get a noob started.
