Does anyone have a IPT invite I could get. I normally use usenet but a few of the major NZB sites have been shut down recently and manually searching is somewhat annoying. Thanks in advance.

We've reached the end of the ride. bitGAMER has been an amazingly fun ride, but all rides must come to an end.

For those who don't know, bitGAMER began as a small sister-site of Underground Gamer. What started as a side-project of several UG staff members quickly grew into a 65,000 member behemoth with an identity all its own. Our small hobby project turned into something that went well beyond all of our dreams.

Of course, you all know that the legal climate has changed over the years, so we won't bore you with that stuff. More importantly, the founders are simply ready to move on with their lives. Running an immensely popular gaming tracker is rewarding, but it's also a very stressful, and often thankless, task. We hope that closing this door will open other doors in our lives, and that we can take all of the lessons we've learned from bitGAMER into the next phase of our lives.

The bitGAMER community has been incredible since the beginning. We want to take this moment to thank each and every member of the community who contributed in any way and allowed this community to thrive for so long.

I was going over my torrent tracker (Which I never clear) and I was pretty surprised to see just how much some of those files were downloaded by others. Anyone else ever look over theirs assuming you don't all clear it out?

I was both shocked a sad to see bitgamer disappear out of the blue like that. Luckily I got a referral to Blackcat-games just after BG went down. Haven't had enough time to really check it out yet, but they started me off with 40GB of upload which is fairly generous.

Are these gaming-specific sites any better for games than IPTorrents? I've yet to come across a game I cant find on IPT, but I don't really look for anything besides PC games, maybe console/portable games are a completely different story.

For those with IPT, I have a question when invites are generated. I've been with them just over a month, and the system auto-upgraded me to power user a few days ago. When should my account be granted with one?

I don't know if it's based on when you join or what, but I usually get my monthly invites around the 25-29th or so of each month. It's never right on the first

fucking hate the new cycle of "scene" movie releases, its now some shitty russian bluray with a shitty english audio track (usually from a telesync source), then a fucked up R1/R2 bluray rip that is cropped or some other problem, and then finally a good bluray rip. Nice thing is if you aren't in a rush the good movies make it to IPT on freeleech eventually, the best are the big 1080p packs.

Like Dredd for example, I've pre-ordered the 3d version on amazon ($20) to support it but its not shipping till next week. All the ones I've seen on trackers are 1920x800, shouldn't it be 1920x1080? I don't want some fucked up version.

I've been looking for a decent ebook torrent site for a while and have yet to find one. The standard answer is usually newsgroups/usenet, but I've honestly just been too lazy to get set up with that, since you have to actually subscribe to a plan from a provider.
