Would he get 2-stars on the wall for the same year or consecutive years?

yeah the spotify thing is BS, there was an aprils fool article last year saying Google bought spotify but its a public company not owned by google. 10% is owned by Tencent (China) and music labels like Sony and Universal own a small percentage too.

Google also already owns Youtube and has a "rival" streaming platform through that.

His sponsorship from discord was revoked. (I Think?) Having a discord channel means nothing. Its like a facebook account. I have dozens of discord things.
sure but who are you? Nuking the entire server of a streamer with all his user connections would be a severe blow to his community. Quite a few would just not come back.

This just seems to me to be too odd that right after Ninja and Shroud are let go by Mixer that the Doc suddenly gets fired. I'm betting that the Doc signed up for a shit deal with twitch, stating that he could bring in X number of views for them (to make up for Ninja and Shroud) and when he didn't, he got canned. Especially because they're getting Shroud and Ninja back.

I'm not stating that this is what happened, I'm just saying that it's more than likely.

Of course, it wouldn't make sense because of more viewers == more money. But meh.

EDIT : Either that or he fucked someone so well that she was walking on one leg, left her out in the middle of bumfuck Egypt, and she's just now getting back.

I seriously doubt Doc is stupid enough to sign a deal with a guaranteed / mandatory performance level regarding subscriber count in an industry as volatile as video game straming.

Having a contract canceled and getting booted off the platform are two different things. The only official position Twitch has indicated is that " "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community".

twitch.tv/p/legal/community-guidelines/

Both of which are pretty broad, as they cover everything from cheating to porn to IP right violation.

Well whatever it was, Twitch should probably give reason for it soon before people start speculating!

Ya never know, though. It's either that or he signed a deal with twitch for multimillions of dollars, just to watch mixer go under. Then, twitch has this multimillion dollar / year contract on its hands. They don't want that, they don't want any other streamers asking for that. So, they found several small infractions that he had broken, "Ye, sorry... Uhhh, you're canned."

If that's what they did, Twitch will get shit on even more, and Doc will just get to go elsewhere and probably be bigger.

Dont think Twitch ever gives a reason for the bans publicly. In the past it was either obvious or the streamer said the reason.

i know nothing about contract law except this is glowy brain stupid and something no sane person would agree to when it comes to streaming viewers

dumbest take on the subject so far

That Discord message about BLM and not tolerating racism and such header they had up for weeks keeps me coming back to that lane of thought, that and Twitch released the Black power thing the day before his ban.
His whole gig was alpha male which is probably why I dropped in on him at all because I am not a big shooter/fps player overall.
For discord to toss him, it has to go beyond contract. For them to not release details but terminate him in such a way he skipped the safety and reeducation team it has to be something somewhat certain. Leaving pretty much sexism or racism. If it is old shit that Twitch knew about but ignored for years, they got issues. If it is a old source/video of him saying jogger years ago, they still got issues imo.

So I don't follow Twitch drama, but this shit is exploding all over and I need some zoomer to tell my dumb boomer ass whats the deal.

So all of the internet space just got collectively me too'd. How much of this is bullshit? Cause I keep seeing and reading all these twitlonger posts and its like, "Well, he hit on me, and I was too anxious and scared to say no. He never did anything. Just told me I should go out more. He never touched me, but it was super awkward and I was worried. But I suffer from too much anxiety to tell anyone about it at the time. Later I said something, people were like "Oh shit really? What happened." And then I told them nothing really happened and they blew me off and now I'm telling the world."

Now, it appears somewhere like a handful of them have some merit? But most of them are just some awkward nerd interaction where no one was touched, nothing happened, just awkward 'I think you're cute, can we date?' level shit and the 'socially anxious couldn't say anything cause no one would ever help me.' person is now out on twitter talking about how crushed and scared they were and that person needs to be unpersoned forever.

Can someone who is smart on this shit make a nice sum up roundup? Is the internet full of literal fucking rapists, or do we just have a bunch of awkward people who can't human and now everyone is equating social awkwardness to sexual assault?
