Apparently he owns part of that telecom the tower is operated by.

Has anyone had Twitch start asking you to verify your account to chat in various channels? Its done this 3 times today, and I've verified each time.

Today Gmail has decided to start giving incoming email a response that tells the provider that your Gmail account doesn't exist. This causes a lot of problems for mail severs as they get penalized when mail bounces in this way (they look like a spammer) so they don't try again.

It's a big ol problem but it manifests in ways outside of Google so it doesn't look like an error causes by Gmail.

Not sure that is the issue I'm having. I get the verify email from Twitch, and I can enter the code they give. Then Twitch shows that my last verification is the one I last did (that day). So it seems its on their end. The first response I got from Twitch support said they "think" they fixed it, but as of this morning the issue is still occurring.

So watching some community townhouses on twitch which I guess is where you can play tranny deer hunter, it appears they are banning many works soon like virgins, simps and more.

I just checked my 2021 schedule though and it appears Twitch isn't on it.

The town hall was shit. DMCA explanations were complete and utter bullshit for those of us that stream music, and I don't mean in the background. I will probably wake up someday soon to a DMCA strike and/or a ban because of a live takedown, and that's something I'm fine with risking as a part-time small streamer. I have a good number of friends who are neither small nor part-time, and they'll lose their livelihoods if they're banned due to DMCA shit. It's dumb.

It isn't actually against the law. It should be covered by fair use but the **AA media groups have fucked everything up with their ultra aggressive legal action supported by a bunch of pussy, corporatist judges who are stuck in the 80s and most likely corrupt as well.

Although I'll agree. Till now and even the few years I was a bigboy mod reports meant absolutely jack shit unless you had a Twitch employee in chat.
I've watched streamers DM twitch regarding people having pizzas delivered over to them and then laughing in chat when it arrived and the streamer had to say no I didn't order this, and twitch still didn't do shit.

If someone reports you for use of the words I mentioned, twitch will take action. That is exactly what banning words is.
The argument it isn't is the same stupid argument here that some words shouldn't be said, but you can and then get punished for it.

Anyways just another nail in the twitch coffin overall.
If twitch wanted to impress me, they would revert back to conservative clothing rule instead of the now goalpost moved rules that allows women to wear crotch so tight, I can count the yeast on their mud flaps while they scream every night how they only made $2000 the day before and people use them as pieces of meat.

"Fair use" is an affirmative defense so it's not like it can just blanket protect you from DMCA takedowns.

Automated DMCA takedowns are the bullshit part of it all in the first place. They allege infringement where it is entirely possible that none exists and they do so in the most general, shotgun style possible. They are only legal because corrupt, corporatist judges allowed them to save their buddies a shitload of money in investigation and court costs, i.e. the things that are absolutely necessary to provide for actual fair use.
