Nobody ever believed Mizkif did those numbers at 5 AM US time when he was in Japan.
They should have focused on Tectone and Mizkif.
Using Asmon's name to signal-boost it, you know, the guy who actually CAN pull those numbers under the right circumstances, was fucking stupid.
Focus on the OTK members who are clearly abusing bots like Mizkif, or ethots like Mira (who has been officially banned for botting)

He made some comment about how it was his agency likely doing it.
I mean it's not like it matters anyhow, I don't think anyone pays him to do things like sponsored streams anymore and he makes little to no ad revenue on twitch. Almost ALL of his money comes from donations and subs.
Is it profitable to buy subs for yourself? I know there is the psych component of starting your own sub train or whatever and then you double down. But, do we really think that the dude hat has roaches around his house that does his own home maintenance and falls through the attic is paying for fake subs to boost real subs?

Prior to him going on hiatus due to his dad's health he'd have like 4 videos a day on his YouTube channel hitting 500k+ views, the vast majority of them 15-20 minutes or longer. He makes fucking bank off that channel. He only streams because he wants to and then his editors turn around and cut the stream into the 4+ videos for YouTube. So yeah, him not giving a shit about Twitch and calling them and everyone else out on botting checks out.

Gifting subs to yourself is tax deductable and you're getting half the money back. That's why all these "bets" where people lose mean nothing. They're writing it all off and the odds that some people resub from a gift sub is high enough that it's generally worth it when people can do it.
Some corpos funnel money to streamers through gifted subs through shell accounts. Usually just to get into their good graces. I'm not sure how much backdoor #ad stuff actually happens, but I'm sure it does somewhere. I'd bet more likely on Kick as Twitch is more particular about where the money, that they're getting half of, is coming from.
