Yea I think he showed his ad earnings the other day, it was like pennies compared to his Kick stream.I don't think Asmon even gets ad revenue on Twitch anymore. I don't see why he would be the one view boting.
First off... It's "OK Gen-Xer". But I wholly expect you've forgotten that generation exists, everybody else did.Goddammit Haus why are you trying so hard to make me say "OK Boomer".
How much is the early bird special at Golden Corral these days?
I don't think Asmon even gets ad revenue on Twitch anymore. I don't see why he would be the one view boting. He was showing he got like 3 bucks for the previous month recently.

Asmon had a big diatribe back when the whole "view botting" thing got discovered/became widely discussed. At the core of his argument was the observation that Twitch, as a platform, was making little to no meaningful effort to address or curtail the practice. It's not really a surprise he'd resort to it as well.
Always enjoy Devin Nash's videos on industry stuff like this.
Why can't we just ban this and force all these idiots to work at McDonalds?
Industry destroying you say? All while scamming the advertising departments that I hate? *desire to learn more intensified*

Stop making Islam make sense.Because too many men are willing to blue-ball themselves. Personally if I was as hot as her, I would do the same thing.
He made some comment about how it was his agency likely doing it.
I mean it's not like it matters anyhow, I don't think anyone pays him to do things like sponsored streams anymore and he makes little to no ad revenue on twitch. Almost ALL of his money comes from donations and subs.
Is it profitable to buy subs for yourself? I know there is the psych component of starting your own sub train or whatever and then you double down. But, do we really think that the dude hat has roaches around his house that does his own home maintenance and falls through the attic is paying for fake subs to boost real subs?
Gifting subs to yourself is tax deductable and you're getting half the money back. That's why all these "bets" where people lose mean nothing. They're writing it all off and the odds that some people resub from a gift sub is high enough that it's generally worth it when people can do it.
Some corpos funnel money to streamers through gifted subs through shell accounts. Usually just to get into their good graces. I'm not sure how much backdoor #ad stuff actually happens, but I'm sure it does somewhere. I'd bet more likely on Kick as Twitch is more particular about where the money, that they're getting half of, is coming from.
